Confirmed Sales Customer
This was A difficult 5 star. Almost didn't buy from Riverside Dealer. If it was not for Daniel intervening and taking action almost 2 hours after I got there. So, I called to set, and appointment and Daniel booked it for 2pm. I wanted to see a 2024 Silverado with 9,000 miles. When I got there Daniel introduces herself and handed me over to a sales rep. (forgot the guy's name) and told him what truck I had inquired about. He grabbed the keys and took me to test drive it, but I soon realized it had the 2.7 turbo engine (Something new to me in a big truck) I was not convinced of it and asked to see a similar truck with a 5.3 but no 4x4. we walked the Lot back and forth a few times and he tries putting me on a Z71 (nice truck but not convinced that it was the right truck for me) I liked the 5.3 and power but no need for a 4x4. So, I asked him if he can show me a LT with no 4x4. He had me walk back and forth on the lot and he was getting frustrated, he said he did not have anything like I was looking for and continued pushing me on Z71. By this time it was well over 100 degrees temperature, so I told him I needed a water break and cool off inside. We sat inside and he brought us water and introduces us to another sales rep. This gentleman was new to the dealership and showed me another truck, but it had the 2.7 turbo and for the first time he explained the features and tech of the truck. I made it clear that I did not want a 2.7 and he took me back inside. It was hot! at this point I was on hydrate and go home for the day mode, I told them they don't have what I'm looking for and not buying today. I'm just resting and cooling off from the heat and I'll be on my way. This when I notices that two sales reps were chatting and went back to Daniel, at which point Daniel came to me and sat down and asked he how I was doing and took her time asking me what I was looking for in a truck and how I was going to use it and what color, features I would like...etc. She said hydrate and wait right here will look up the truck and see if we can find one in our inventory for you. A few minutes later she came back with another sales rep and walked me into an office where they searched for the truck I was looking for. They said please sit here and we will bring it to the front for you to see. It was not 5 minutes, and the truck was sitting Infront of the lot. I checked it out and it was Exactly what I was looking for. Finally, after 2 hours. From there the Process was Smooth negotiations were fast and fair and financing was fast and efficient. I saw the other two sales reps bickering and saying they wanted to split commissions with the 3rd rep that helped me and that was not nice to see as a customer. Especially when they were not helpful, but that's your problem. I got my truck. Thank you, Daniel. Hope you can Coach your sales reps a bit better.
